| President’s Report
This being the Club’s 30th year of serving the local community, members and management have been busy with improvements and events. In particular, the 30year reunion held on the 19th July was a great success with all of the 10 original families attending. Banners, timelines, honour rolls and videos transfixed the 130 plus guests (were the uneven bars really ever that close together?). You will also notice that we are displaying some of the landmark events and improvements that have occurred during the last 10 years.
You may have also noticed some improvements in the Club’s surrounding gardens – thanks to a retiree passerby who kindly volunteered his services - planting 28 native plants in the newly pine-chipped beds.
Thanks also to the Parent Fundraising group, all customers of the Saturday sausage sizzles and volunteers, for funding/completing the installation of the door from the Kitchen to the deck - a wonderful asset for Holiday camps, Birthdays and other social events. If you would like to help with finishing off the painting please talk to the welcoming office staff J!
A large contingent of Club gymnasts and coaches cheered on the Australian Women’s Olympic squad during their trials at the AIS at the end of June. No doubt we will all be following Australia’s athletes during these Olympic Games! Best wishes for an enjoyable term.

Kindergym ChallengeKindergym Challenge was another great success this year. There were 160 young, eager and enthusiastic athletes aged from 2 to 7 participating. All achieved great personal goals and were able to show off their gymnastics skills to their loved ones. The highlight of the day’s events was receiving a Gold Medal at the end, although some preferred the balloon. Special thanks to all the parents who donated raffle items and all the coaches who gave up their Sunday to make the event run so smoothly. Fun was had by all.
