Club Colours Members' Newsletter May 2007
Presidents Report The Club has experienced a very busy start to 2007. Completion of building work occurred early in term 1 and members have been working hard to fit-out the new areas sufficiently for all groups to use. We are still awaiting some major pieces of equipment such as another vaulting table and a sprung floor strip to enable all senior groups preparations before their respective competitions. CCGC made history by hosting several competitions so far this year: Capital Youth Games, ACT trial 1 and ACT Championships as well as our own MAG Invitational. I am pleased to relate that we have received very positive feedback about the venue and our hospitality. It is particularly pleasing to the Management Committee to see the Club busy with community participation and new programs indeed the intention of the building project. A reminder that the Club is still offering member acknowledgement on spectator seats at a donation of $100 each. Finally, we hope to officially open building Stages 4 & 5 in June.
